Description: Part Time Direct Support Professionals needed 9 hours per week to provide in home supports to a gentleman with developmental disabilities in the Westerly area. Candidates wil be assisting individuals with activities of daily living and running of his apartment, including shopping, meal preparation, cooking, cleaning and budgeting. Hours are Monday through Friday, flexible.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license with excellent driving history, acces to an insured vehicle and clear criminal background.

Community Experience Instructor

Description: 30 hour/ week Instructor needed for Community Vocational Services Program. Looking for a team oriented individual to compliment existing staff. The focus of the program is community-based activities. Individual must display empathy, compassion and treat all staff and participants with respect and dignity. The instructor is responsible for the daily transportation to various community sites and activities, as well as supervision and assistance for program participants while in the community. Responsibilities also include: daily record keeping, development of goals and implementation of plans, following programmatic interventions, assistance with personal hygiene when needed, and be available to assist with transportation, when necessary. Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00-3:00pm.
Requirements: Minimum of one year’s experience working with individuals with developmental challenges. Basic computer knowledge helpful.
