Community Vocational Services located in Waterford Connecticut is looking for a dynamic, energetic person to join their team. Responsibilities include providing programming in-house and in the local community. A transportation run is also included in this position transporting individuals to the day program and then a return trip home. Daily record keeping, development of goals and implementation of plans, following programmatic interventions are also a vital component of this job. Assistance with personal care, hygiene and self-help also required.

Direct Support Professionals needed for 24 hour supported homes located in Groton and Uncasville. A 2nd shift part time position is available in Uncasville, 24.5 hours. A fulltime position of 30 hours and a part time position of 26.5 hours are available in Groton. DSP's are expected to assist with personal care and hygiene, mealtime preparation, transporting participants into the community and social and leisure time activities.
Applicants must have a clear criminal background, excellent driving record and high school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with individuals with physical and developmental challenges preferred.
Person needed to provide direct support to individuals with developmental and physical challenges in their apartments or their family homes. Hours are Monday-Friday 9am-4pm. Responsibilities include assistance with ADL skills, community integration, grocery shopping, banking, transporting to and from appointments as necessary.
