We're looking forward to seeing you this Sunday, August 2 at the Frank Olean Center's 60th Anniversary Golf Tournament at Richmond Country Club!

 

To help you make the most of the day, here's a preview of what to expect.

🕛 12:00 p.m. – Registration & Lunch

Arrive, check in with our volunteers, and enjoy lunch before heading out to the course.

While you're there, you'll have plenty of time to:

• Purchase Mulligans.

• Purchase raffle tickets.

• Browse our raffle prizes and place your tickets in the items you'd most like to win.

• Pick up your golfer information and gift bags full of snacks for the course and some fun gifts

• Catch up with friends and meet fellow golfers before the shotgun start.

 

⛳ 1:00 p.m. – Shotgun Start

Before heading to your assigned cart, you’ll hear briefly from the club about course rules, then head to your starting hole for an afternoon of golf on one of southern Rhode Island's most beautiful courses.

Throughout the day you'll enjoy:

• Hole-in-one, Closest to the Pin (men and women) and Longest Drive competitions (men and women).

• Complimentary coolers stationed around the course with water.

• A Richmond Country Club beverage cart available throughout the round (beverages available for purchase).

• An opportunity at Hole 3 to buy raffle tickets for a Red Sox Game- 4 seats on 8/23/26 valued at $564 - be in it to win it.

 

🍻 After Your Round

As you return to the clubhouse, relax with a drink, reconnect with friends, and see which raffle prizes you've won! Many of our basket raffle winners will be drawn while golfers are on the course, so the excitement begins as soon as you return to the clubhouse.

You'll also have the opportunity to:

• Purchase more tickets for our exciting 50/50 raffle.

• And tickets to enter our special premium prize raffles, featuring a selection of larger-ticket items available with $10 raffle tickets that will be announced during dinner.  You’ll need to be present to win these premium gifts.

 

🍖 Dinner & Celebration

After golf we'll enjoy a delicious Texas BBQ dinner while celebrating the Frank Olean Center's 60th Anniversary.

The evening will include:

• Recognition of our tournament winners. (1st and 2nd team prizes)

• Presentation of contest prizes.

• Drawings for our premium raffle prizes.

• The exciting 50/50 drawing.

• A chance to celebrate another successful tournament supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

 

💳 Payment Information

We'll gladly accept cash, checks, Venmo, and secure online payments for raffle tickets, Mulligans, and other tournament purchases. While you're welcome to pay during the event, purchasing your raffle tickets and Mulligans during registration will help keep things moving and ensure you don't miss out before the basket raffles close.

 

☀️ What to Bring

• Your clubs and golf gear.

• Comfortable golf attire.

• Sunscreen (we're hoping for beautiful weather!).

• Cash, a check, or a credit card for beverages, raffles, Mulligans, and other tournament purchases.

 

Most importantly, come ready to have fun! Whether you're playing to win or simply enjoying a great day with friends, we're grateful you've chosen to spend your day supporting the Frank Olean Center.
