April Fools Day is old news – April 1 is now 401Gives Day!
It doesn’t get much easier than this to make a positive difference in the life of someone else.
On April 1, you can support the Olean Center’s work in helping our participants explore their dreams and learn new skills when you visit 401Gives.org and make a donation to the Center. Or donate directly to our Center from our secure webpage. Donate right from your kitchen counter or couch and keep your tax-deductible contribution local!
401Gives, a United Way project now in its third year, is a one-day, online, statewide fundraising event that lets you help your neighbors in the Ocean State. Last year, more than 12,000 donors raised $2.29 million for 422 nonprofits.
So set a reminder on your phone or put a sticky note on the calendar to do some good for our developmentally disabled friends and neighbors on April 1. Visit 401Gives.org and make a donation to the Olean Center. Give early, give late or give a bunch – you can give until 5:59 a.m. on April 2!
And if you spread the word to friends and family, it will be as if you’re multiplying your contribution tenfold!
